Job Description: PPC Specialist / Data Analyst

Position Overview: The PPC Specialist / Data Analyst will be responsible for executing tasks assigned, including management, optimization, and reporting on digital ad campaigns primarily using Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google Ads platforms. This role focuses exclusively on paid advertisements, excluding organic social media posting and direct client communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and optimize digital ad campaigns on Meta, Google, and Microsoft Ads platforms within a monthly budget ranging from $2,000 to $25,000 per client.

  • Create compelling and effective ad copy, visuals, and content tailored to campaign objectives.

  • Conduct audience targeting research and adjustments, continuously testing and refining targeting strategies to maximize ROI.

  • Execute all aspects of backend client onboarding, including keyword research, budget recommendations, campaign set up, analytics setup, data tracking checks, verifying correct account setup, ad copy creation, setting budgets, and launching ads.

  • Execute conversion optimization strategies, including A/B testing for ads, landing pages, and campaign settings.

  • Perform regular bid adjustments, geo-targeting optimization, and detailed performance analysis.

  • Monthly budget management, ensuring optimal allocation of spend across various campaigns and platforms.

  • Prepare and maintain a comprehensive reporting dashboard, clearly demonstrating campaign results, insights, and recommendations.

  • Meet deadlines and work within task-management software, such as ClickUp or Asana.

  • Communicate and record work performed within the scope of the tasks assigned.

  • Take calls as needed within reasonable working times (9 am-5 pm).

  • Utilize communication software such as text messages, Slack, and email.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads campaigns (3+ years).

  • Expertise in ad targeting, audience segmentation, conversion optimization, and bid management.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies (Excel and Google Drive advanced proficiency is a plus).

  • Excellent communication and copywriting abilities.

  • Experience managing monthly ad budgets and ensuring spending efficiency.

  • Familiarity with creating and managing dashboards for reporting campaign performance.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in campaigns and ads to prevent errors leading to lost revenue or client churn.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with various business types, including e-commerce, B2B/lead generation, and local businesses.

    Advanced skills in Excel, Google Drive, and Pivot Tables.

    Additional skills in digital advertising, including website conversion rate optimization, Shopify development, WordPress/WooCommerce development, Klaviyo/email marketing, GA4, Google My Business, Google Search Console, etc.

    Ability to create and adjust dashboards and reports in reporting software.

    Ability to strategize for based on performance and get creative! Being able to consult clients and offer good new ideas to help based on their needs is one of the breakout factors for a good candidate for this role.

Reporting:

  • Reports directly to the agency owner.

Working Conditions:

  • Remote role, flexible hours within reason.

  • Part-time, up to 15 hours per week.
